Girls are born to bring revolution and they are born to finish violence, but in our male-dominated society, many campaigns have been started to give the girls their fundamental rights but all in vain. It is well-known that girls were dumped alive because in those days they were arrogant but today girls are still being dumped heartlessly by keeping them mute. Girls are told to stay in homes after their matriculation because if they go to coaching centers so it will be a sort of infamy for family members.
Islam says that if a girl became a juvenile then it is must for parents to ask their daughters before accepting any relation for them and in case if they don’t agree then they shouldn’t be forced. The undeniable truth is that parents force their daughters to keep a relationship with someone who is not of their type. Parents think that if we choose the life partner of our daughters so they will be glad but if they choose themself then their life will be ruined. In Balochistan majority of parents don’t ask their daughters before consenting their relation and the girls become compel to tolerate the horrid days by weeping, crying and cursing their destinies.
In our male-dominated society, it is still believed that if a girl chooses her life partner so it is considered an infamy and such unforeseen results distress them for a long time. Secondly, the process of making relationships between cousins is an unruly act that is running for years. Such decisions lead to brawls between family members and wretched situations take place day by day. In order to avoid infamy, girls are forced to opt for such brutal decisions. In this 21st century era, still our Baloch are accepting the male-dominated society. Girls remain silent for the sake of their parents pleasure.
We all live in such societies where parents do their best to ask their son 100 times for a relationship, on the other side girls are handed over without their compliance. In our societies, such so called norms and traditions have spoiled the lives of girls, some of the girls commit suicide due to such situations and some of them spend their lives by weeping. Due to illiteracy, the parents in Balochistan dump the pleasures of their daughters. This trend has been poured in the minds of parents like sacred verses, but they are not aware that they are going towards the age of darkness, illiteracy again, though living in 21st era.
The era of technology is taken negative and they warn their daughters to stay away of it. The rights of siblings are divided in categories. If a boy likes a girl in our societies so all family members celebrate this event but if a girl rejects a relationship and says that she dislikes him so family members break their relationship with her. She is said that you are a Muslim, a baloch, you can’t use such words. She is told to be mute, doesnt matter if she has to face a worrisome life till she is alive. Girls are deprived of their basic rights, they die every day but due to parents they keep silent which makes every writer bewildered.
Khalida brohi started a campaign against honor-killings and she was threatened to stop this act, but she educated the all uneducated women of her area. In many areas of Balochistan girls are prohibited to take the decisions of their lives themselves. An educated girl is told to get married with an uneducated, illiterate boy. Girls are not given permission to say “NO” to something that disturbs her in her life. To keep the respect of their parents on their societies they accept the decision and decide to spend a destructive life full of tears and sorrows. Girls are still believed as burdens and they are given less importance as compared to their brothers. Parents don’t ask once before accepting her relation and when they see their daughters weeping so it is told that you don’t care of our respect.
