Quetta: Members of councilor’s alliance of Metropolitan Corporation Quetta demanded resignation of Mayor Quetta city, Dr. Kaleem Ullah Kakar on the grounds that he has lost support.
This demand was made by the Councilors alliance in a press conference in Quetta Press Club, on Tuesday.
Those who addressed the press conference included opposition leader Rahim Kakar, Mir Aslam Rind, Yahya Khan Nasir, Jamal Langove, Khuda Bukhsh Longove, Kabir Agha, Rajab Ali Karbalai, Mir Ghafar Qambarani and Raza Wakeel.
Councilors said that Mayor Quetta has lost support in the house and he should resign on moral grounds.
Councilors alleged that Mayor Quetta has failed to pass local government budget on time.
Councilors vowed to continue their struggle till the resignation of Mayor Dr. Kaleemullah Kakar.
