Loralai: Education Department of Loralai University is one of the most active department of Loralai University (UoL). This department has showed excellent progress in short span of time. UoL is training well equipped teachers for tomorrow, these views were expressed by Prof Dr. Abdullah Khan Vice Chancellor Loralai University during Social Action Project (SAP) Exhibition ceremony.
Ceremony was attended by Education Department of Loralai University, Registrar Noor-ul-Amin Kakar, Dean Education Department Prof. Maroof bin Rauf, Principal Army Public School Prof. Malik Saleem Akhtar, principals of government and private schools and students of University.
Addressing on the occasion, Prof Dr. Abdullah Khan said that University of Loralai is the only University of Balochistan which has received Research Grant in Education.
Two of the faculty members will soon depart for foreign countries for PhD degrees. Arrangements are being made to have more PhD faculty members in University. UoL will produce well equipped and trained teachers who will serve the society and will uplift education in Balochistan.
Dean of Education Department Prof. Maroof bin Rauf while addressing said that through Social Action Project, students of UoL reached thousands of students of government and private schools. They introduced and launched different societies i.e. debate, sports, dramatic etc. in schools. They also trained and helped students and teachers in their respective subjects for effective results.
Other speakers lauded efforts of UoL for training and helping students and teachers of Loralai city through SAP. They further added that there is dire need of trained teachers. On the occasion, different stalls were arranged by the students. All the participants showed great interest in these stalls. At the end, participation and apperception certificates were distributed amongst students and teachers.
