Chagai: At least seven people burnt to death and 8 others suffered critical injuries after a bus and trawler collided with each other in Gatt Laandhi area some 100 kilometers away from Dalbandin city, on Saturday morning.
According to Deputy Commissioner Chagai Shaihak Baloch the levies and FC had commenced rescue operations after receiving information and shifted the dead bodies and injured people to Prince Fahad hospital where the injured people were provided first aid.
Shaihak Baloch added that the bus and trawler caught fire after they collided badly. Four dead bodies were burnt badly which couldn’t be identified. He said 4 critically injured people including an FC man had been shifted to Quetta for further treatment.
The local levies force is looking into the matter.
According to Director General Public relation of Government of Balochistan dead bodies of three people have been identified, namely Pervaiz s/o M.Gul, Lakhmir and Malik shah s/o Baz Mohammad. Other four dead bodies are totally burnt and can’t be identified.
Injured victims who have been shifted to Quetta for further treatment include Saeed Ahmed s/o Abdul haleem, Shabir Ahmed s/o Rasool Baksh, Naimatullah s/o M saad khan and M.Ghaffar F.C sepoy.
Those who are under treatment in DHQ Dalbandin include M. Wajid s/o M Yousaf, Bakht Hussain s/o khadim Hussain, Jaffer Hussain s/o Aashiq Hussain and Munir Ahmed s/o Mohd Ramzan.
