Balochistan has a big tradition of handicrafts. The embroidery of women in Balochistan has begun many years ago and it is still progressing. Embroidery of Baloch women are well known all over the world for their beauty of designs and richness of colors. However, the embroidery of women is sold at very low prices.
This work is being down by women and girls and also it is common in all over Balochistan the women folk spend hours on embroidery work. It’s a means of earning money for their family. However, it very painful to mention that government is not support the women embroidery.
So I request to the government to support all the women who are involved in embroidery business.
