Quetta: Teacher is the Architect of a society but unfortunately here a levies sepoy gets more respect than a teacher said Dr. kahoor khan the secretary of labor and manpower.
While speaking at the oath taking ceremony of Workers welfare board staff held at Khurshid Labor hall he said that “The civilized nations give huge respect to their Teachers which shows their indicators of highness. Teacher has an objective to spread the light of knowledge but our society perspective is to get a degree not a knowledge and further more a job. Our Parents stress their children to obtain good Marks but they don’t want to develop their character which is the theme of knowledge.”
He added that we have joined the meaning of knowledge with economy but knowledge is the name of research, sociological and philosophical change. He further said that we want to get education for being a clerk not for being a noble man. For getting high marks cut throat competition is appreciated by parents among their children no one want to build their character.”
He said that the teacher has a responsibility to develop character and confidence in a student and make him vital for the society. Teacher can bring change in the minds of students, he added.
Talking about the problems of workers of welfare board he vowed that they would be solved.
He concluded his speech by saying that teacher should bring a change and change is permanent and it will bring a revolution in a society.
