Quetta: Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saifullah Chattah, has taken notice of Ad-Hocism in education department of Balochistan where scores of junior officers are given acting charge of senior positions.
Chief Secretary ordered education department to reverse the posting orders of juniors on higher positions and present report within 24 hours.
Earlier Balochistan Voices had reported that education department in Balochistan is running on Ad-Hoc basis.
As a result of notice of Chief Secretary Balochistan, education department reversed the postings of District Education Officers (DEOs) of Qilla Abdullah, Kech and Khuzdar.
Earlier, it was revealed by Balochistan Voices that 38 key positions of education department are lying vacant. In 19 districts out of 32 in Balochistan, education department is controlled by junior SST teachers on Ad-Hoc basis.
