Lahore: Board of Governors of Pakistan federal Union of Columnists (PFUC) have approved the office bearders of the organization for the year 2017. Board has approved the appointment of Farrukh Shehbaz Warraich as the President for 2017 session.
New President after consultation has appointed Noor ul Huda as Secretary General, Adnan Aamir as Additional Secretary General and Haseeb Hashir Ejaz as Deputy Secretary General and Umer Abdul Rehman Janjua as Central organizer.
In other appointments Fareed Razzaqi from Okara has appointed as Senior Vice President, Akhtar Ayub Khan from Hyderabad as Central Vice President, Hafiz Muhammad Zahid from Lahore as Secretary Information, Wisal Khan from Peshawar and Tauqeer Kharal as Deputy Information Secretaries, Rizwanullah Khan as Joint Secretary, M. M. Ali as Coordination Secretary, Irfan Chaudhry as Deputy Secretary Coordination, Tahir Tabbasum Durrani as Finance Secretary, Syed Sammar Ahmed as Secretary Programs and Azhar Tharaj from Vehari as Secretary Membership.
PFUC is the leading body of columnists all over Pakistan. It was established on 1st January 2013 with the aim to develop, educate and promote newspaper columnists of orint and electrnic media and to provide the public with better newspaper columnists.
Many leading politicians including Syed Mustafa Kamal, Rana Mashud Ahmed, Mansha ullah Butt, Mian Imran Masood and Ejaz Chaudhry congratulated the new leadership of PFUC and expressed their optimism that they will work for reform of society and development of country.
