Quetta: Implementing partners of Balochistan Nutrition Program for Mothers & Children, Health and Nutrition society (HnNutS) Balochistan and Poverty Alleviation Organization Balochistan (PAO-BK), started their four days Training of Trainers (ToT) at Quetta, on Wednesday.
The trained staff will further the trainings as Master Trainers to grass root levels in the districts of Kohlu, Sibi and Panjgur.
The project is being implemented in 7 districts through National Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care (LHW Program), the Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI), Health & Nutrition Society Balochistan (HnNutS), Poverty Alleviation Organization Balochistan (PAO-BK) and Society for Community Action Process Balochistan (SCAP), the Balochistan Nutrition Program for Mothers & Children.
The focus of the project is on Addressing General Malnutrition among Children, Pregnant and Lactating Women, Addressing Micronutrient Malnutrition, Behavioral Change Communication, Strengthening Institutional Arrangements and Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation Systems.
