Quetta: Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development (P&D) Dr. Umer Khan Babar has said that boosting economy is directly correlated with creation of new job opportunities.
He expressed these views while chairing the departmental coordination meeting. Chief Economist Mr. Ghous Bux Marri, Director General M&E Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Sarparha, Joint chief Economists, Chief of Sections and other concerned officers were present in the event.
ACS on the eve said that Government of Balochistan wants that all National level Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) must properly coordinate with P&D and other stakeholders time and again because it had been felt that there has been duplication of work.
He also urged that the NGOs must consult all other stakeholders as it is a sector which is employing more than 5.000 personnel in the restive province.
In addition, he said that P&D is very curious to complete all the development projects with in the meantime, all instructed that proper frame works maybe adopted in releases by completing all formalities. He also said that in main important social sector development projects, relevant stakeholders may be instructed to complete the schemes.
