Peshawar Beats Quetta to Win Pakistan Super League

Quetta: Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs in the final to win the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), on Sunday.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to field first. Peshawar Zalmi scored 148 runs at the loss of 6 wickets while batting first.
Quetta Gladiators were all out at score of 90 runs in 16.3 overs.
Earlier in the evening, closing ceremony of the PSL took place in Gaddafi Stadium where artists preformed and parachutists landed in the ground.

Addressing the closing ceremony, PSL Chairman Najam Sethi said “Today there are people here from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Karachi, Quetta ─ from every part of Pakistan. This is a show of solidarity. The whole world should see we are together. We will not bow our heads before anyone. We can do anything.”
Final of PSL was telecasted on large screens in all divisional headquarters of Balochistan. Thousands of people watched the match at big screen in Akbar Bugti Stadium Quetta.

PSL final was subject of intense social media activity. Twitter users in Pakistan used the hashtags of #PSL2017 and #PZvsQG to share the views about the final.
