Non-implementation of laws by our government has made our youth underdog. Beside other factors, unemployment is one of the menaces to the lives of educated youth. They put their heart and soul in working hard but at the end they get an undeniable result due to which they bear severe disappointment in the rest of their life.
Poverty is one of the revealed factors which jeopardizes the future of students. Due to poverty, most of the parents don’t teach their children. Few parents can admit their children in govt and private institutions, however, the fee becomes unbearable for the parents and children cannot continue their education. Among them only 5% students struggle for jobs and only 2% can get jobs. Likewise poverty gives rise to unemployment and the current situation of students is evidence that they are not satisfied with the performance of government.
Governmental jobs are the only option for Baloch to live a better life but they are defrauded by the government. The fact can’t be denied that youth in other provinces get jobs earlier after graduation than Baloch can get. NTS jobs are also one of the optimum options, but after the final list of NTS they only face discouragement.
Poverty in Balochistan is increasing each year. The half of the population of Balochistan is under poverty line. Thousands of posts have been announced for Balochistan, but still the youth are short of jobs. The data provided by Pakistan Bureau of statistics reveals that the unemployment rate is 4%. With this report, Balochistan seems to be in a deplorable condition. According to the budget of 2017-18, 6270 new vacancies were generated, yet only some people have been appointed so far which is quite concerning.
