Quetta: British Council will start conducting tests for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in Quetta from July this year.
This was revealed by Director of British Council for Sindh and Balochistan Mr. Christopher Hunt during his meetings with officials of Education Department of Balochistan, on Wednesday.
Earlier, this year A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in London by Provincial Minister Education Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal and Country Director British Council Pakistan Rosemary Hilhorst to conduct IELTS tests in Quetta.
Balochistan Voices had raised the issue no IELTS testing center in Quetta last year.
Mr. Christopher Hunt also met Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai and expressed interests of UK government to work in Health and education sectors in Balochistan.
