Paramedic Staff Association Protestors Arrested on Labor Day

Quetta: Police arrested dozens of protestors of Paramedic Staff Association near Quetta Press Club on Labor Day.
Paramedics were holding a sit-in protest in lawn of Metropolitan Corporation when Police raided and arrested scores of protestors.
Later Police claimed that Paramedic staff protestors were shifted to Mian Ghundi and released.
Balochistan Paramedical Staff Association Balochistan is on strike for its rights since 17th April. The staff members of 32 Districts of Balochistan started long March towards Provincial Capital City Quetta. People have faced a lot of hurdles and problems during moment towards Quetta.
Police personnel attacked on the participants of rally near Mastung and beaten them badly. A lot Paramedical staff members were arrested.
All the OPD’s are close from 11 days due to Strike. People of Balochistan are facing a lot of problems due to unannounced closure of OPD services in hospitals. Patients coming from far flung areas with the hope of free medication go back with disappointed hearts to homes.
Protest Camp of Paramedics
Itis cowardly act of dictatorship to attack women protestors, said Former Senator Haji Lashkari Raisani while he reached at strike Camp to show solidarity with them. The government have interest to earn just money not to solve problems.
Former Senior Member of Balochistan Government told the Balochistan Voices that 220 Billion rupees is total budget of Balochistan and 180 Billion rupees are spent on government employees’ salaries. It is not possible for government to increase their salaries.
