GIJN publishes Top ten Data Journalism Stories published around the globe every week. This week Balochistan Voices story about un-utilized education development budget of Balochistan was also featured in top ten.

This story of Balochistan Voices analyzed past six budgets in Balochistan, Pakistan and found that the government failed to utilize one-third of its education development budget. The unspent money could have been used to educate almost 430,000 children and build almost 3,000 small primary schools, found the analysis.
This is the first time that a news story from a media outlet in Balochistan has found a place in top ten Data journalism stories of the week of GIJN.
