Quetta: Balochistan National Party (BNP) – Awami announced to withdraw its candidate for NA-260 elections, Asif Baloch advocate, in favor of BNP-Mengal candidate Bahadur Khan Mengal, on Monday.
This announcement was made in a joint program arranged by both factions of BNP in Quetta Press Club.
Addressing the program, Senator Dr. Jehanzeb Jamaldini of BNP-Mengal said that due to wrong policies of government in Balochistan the situation has become critical and problems are increasing day by day. Corruption is crossing unprecedented limits and no one is ready to listen to voice of people.

“Support for BNP-Mengal candidate by BNP-Awami portrays solidarity for achievement of joint political objectives,” added Senator Jamaldini.
Asif Baloch Advocate, candidate of BNP-Awami, said that it is compulsory for sustainability of democracy and supremacy of law to work for public welfare without self-interest. “Balochistan is facing a lot of hurdles and it needs political alliance and solidarity,” he added.
Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, Noor Ahmed Baloch, Dr. Nashanas Lehri and other speakers also praised alliance of both factions of BNP.
On this occasion participants also had a condolence prayer for slain BNP leader Malik Naveed Dehwar who was murdered in Quetta on 6th July.
