People have yearning to approach the peak of success. For this they strive to lead their aspiration towards what they want to achieve. Central Superior Services is one of the most prestigious and versatile fields, whose recruited industrious officers lead internal and external affairs of country. Since its creation, CSS, competitive exam, has made a lot of aspirants to examine their fortune to join it; however, many of them remain devoid of securing a seat in this prominent sector by various causes. Mohammed Ali Jinnah once said about this competitive exam that, “CSS is most supreme sector of Pakistan where government is process of changing but these Individuals are forever to handle the State of Pakistan”.
Certainly, Central Superior Services with 8 to 10 fields has potential to fulfil the dream of Country’s founder. But, reality is not that what we think about joining this sector. On the one hand, hundreds of candidates have cleared this examination and succeeded to opt for their interested fields. While on the other hand, Country’s position is worse than it was in past showing that these officers have no power to carry this country towards of development. Why?
This question needs one to concentrate on following aspects. Firstly, Central Superior Services has various facilities which are very hard to get by a single job. People just want to be authority to get this status. Their preparation is not for amending the deteriorating situation of the country, but it is to complete their wish by clearing this exam. This perception induces aspirants to delve into the books by burning midnight’s oil where they don’t prefer to take any rest. But, when they get victory by clearing this hard stage, they forget what they claimed before clearing it.
Secondly, poverty is one of the worst aspects of any society which has always kept people away from their ambitions. Most of the population of our country is victimized by this inevitable disease while many people have wishes to vanquish this humiliation. It is safe to say that most of the candidates have cleared this competitive exam to serve the country, yet many instance are still present which show that how  poor aspirants have availed the chances to make money. From this perspective, is it possible for a person, whose ambition is just to collect wealth to be wealthy, bring change in society or country?
Thirdly, it’s a reality that this field is a juncture for prudent people where only astute minds can pass it with flying colours. But, most aspirants clear it by rote learning. After regurgitating crammed knowledge on paper these Individuals easily pass this hard exam.
In short, the reality of Central Superior Services is adhered to the supremacy and its charm form succeeding aspirants to keep it as prominent as it is. We all are responsible for bringing change in our country by our role but we can’t do it in a way as these aspirants can do. The dream of Quaid was to create a prosperous platform for the Muslims of subcontinent and we are the people for whom he got this country by tireless efforts. Now we have to reciprocate Quaid’s struggle. For this, our first priority should be to serve our country sincerely.
