The unprecedented judicial action has finally staved Nawaz Sharif off the premiership. The inglorious exit may have termed as a grim blow to the country’s most powerful political dynasty. It is a quite apparent that the prime minister was in deep water after the JIT report came out with a bleak chapter of him.
People smell it a part of conspiracy against democracy in Pakistan. After justice Anwaar ul Haq’s judgement of ZAB, many people deemed Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification as another case of judicial overreach with an agenda.
The idea that the army played a role in the removal of Nawaz Sharif, is beyond the beliefs. For, a hard Coup is no longer on its agenda, and it already wields control over issues that it historically want to dictate. These include, it’s direct and indirect rule over Balochistan, respond to high confrontation with its harsh rival country, and a complete control over the Defence and foreign policy.

There cannot be two opinions, Balochistan has been under establishment’s dictates for the last 70 years and above. It is the only province of Pakistan, wherein, bringing one government and toppling the other as always be a part and game of hobby of the unseen powers. Whoever the corrupt leaders knew a puppet role, were brought to powers and given free hands to corruption. Balochistan is often left on mercy of malpractices and bad governance.
In the mainstream politics, any missteps towards democracy can affect the other provinces but not the Balochistan as it’s already going through an undemocratic process. Here, the governments are formed and deposed on choices of personal likes and dislikes by some invisible elements.
The leaders of Balochistan are more like the uninvited guests of glorious and inglorious marriages, either be it a good or bad political scene in the country.
It is of course, not a single political occurrence in the mainstream politics of the country, does count a difference to the styled of governments in Balochistan.
Thereupon, neither be it Nawaz Sharif’s downfall nor any other step towards weakening democracy in the country can affect the political scene in Balochistan, as it already under dominance of undemocratic tactics.
