Quetta: First Balochi HD film “Sangat” was premiered in Quetta, on Saturday.
Premiere ceremony was attended by General Manager PTV Quetta Center Atta Ullah Baloch, Afzal Murad, and large number of actors also participated in the ceremony.
Sangat is the first Balochi professional HD film which has been produced with a budget of Rs. 3 million in Sultanate of Oman.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta Press Club, Sami Sarang, Director of the film said that Sangat will promote literature and language of Baloch community.
It is a story of friendship with a lots of thrill and suspense. This film has been also approved by the Sensor board of Baloch Club Mini Cinema in Kingdom of Bahrain, He added.
“We have tried our best to raise awareness about modern era among young generation. It is a tiny contribution to promote film industry in Balochistan and we want an active industry in future,” said Mr. Sarang.
Director said that the film Sarang will be released in Balochistan very soon.
