Quetta: Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) and Civil Society Balochistan arranged a protest demonstration against police brutality faced by Baloch and Pashtun students in Quaid e Azam University, on Monday.
Earlier in the day Islamabad Police raided the protest camp of Baloch Council and arrested over 50 Baloch and Pashtun students.
Rasheed Karim Baloch, Chairman BSAC and other speakers condemned undemocratic act of Islamabad Police. Protestors chanted slogans against behavior of Quaid e Azam University and Islamabad Police.
The University administration has also denied to restore the admissions of restricted students which is not acceptable, said the protestors.
Protestors demanded from government of Balochistan to pass a resolution against high handed tactics of Islamabad administration and also urged it to play a vital role to resolve this issue on early basis.
Protestors warned if government could not resolve the issue than they will start boycott of classes in all educational institutions of Balochistan and make a future action plan with the help of other student bodies soon.
Protests were also held in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Uthal and other cities against Police brutality in Quaid e Azam University.
