Turbat: Turbat University’s Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that his institution was working on multiple programs to find sources of financial assistance and scholarships for underprivileged and talented students.
He was speaking on the occasion of the meeting of Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) held in the conference room of the university which was attended by administrative and academic officials of the University.
VC said this region has no shortage of talented youth, but lack of resources prevent them from accessing higher education. Turbat University, in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC), is facilitating needy and deserving students through Need-Based and other Scholarships which aim to elevate the socio-economic status of the students by enabling their access to modern education and career opportunities towards a brighter future.
He said Turbat University has also started a fundraising campaign for Students endowment fund aimed at providing opportunities to talented but financially disadvantaged students and empower them to acquire high-quality education at Turbat University.
Vice Chancellor thanked the philanthropists for starting Kareem Dashti Scholarship, Taj Muhammad Scholarship and Mir Elahi Bakhsh Scholarship in Turbat University to provide financial assistance to the talented and deserving students.
