Sardar Akhtar Mengal President of Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Jam Kamal President of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) used Twitter for political debate, on Thursday.
It was the first time that two top politicians have used the platform of social media service, Twitter, to issue statements and contradict the opposite views.
It was started by Akhtar Mengal who tweeted about possible rigging in forthcoming elections in Balochistan. He warned between the lines that if elections are rigged in Balochistan then the consequences will be disastrous.
Categorically stating this. If this year BNP’s mandate is stolen and 2013 ways are repeated which seems very likely. The consequences will be disastrous from our end.

Within an hour, Jam Kamal responded in a detailed tweet. Without naming BNP and Akhtar Mengal, BAP president criticized the BNP and its representatives from National and provincial assembly constituencies of Gwadar.
People have always given chances to all parties and stake holders. Those who have performed and delivered people have always respected their positions. Gawader MPA and Gawader MNA were from a same party and what has been done in these last 5 years from them is a big question.

The same night, BNP President hit back by directly responding to the tweet of Jam Kamal. He questioned Jam Kamal that how many parties He has changed and added that Jam Kamal and his family have been part of every government.

Akhtar Mengal then asked Jam Kamal what he did for Gwadar and Lasbela when he served as Minister of State from 2013 to 2018.

That was not enough for BNP chief and he hit back Jam Kamal with another tweet. He said that Jam Kam’s family has been part of every government from the rule of Iskandar Mirza to Nawaz Sharif.
