Dalbandin: Chinese workers of Saindak Copper-Gold Project, traveling in a bus, were targeted through a suicide bomb blast near Dalbandin town, on Saturday.
Chinese workers were traveling from Saindak to Dalbandin Airport under the protection of Law Enforcement agencies when an explosive-laden vehicle was detonated near the bus, claimed the district administration officials.
According to sources, three Chinese engineers, two security personnel and the driver of the bus was wounded in the blast. The wounded victims were provided initial treatment at Arab hospital Dalbandin and later shifted to Karachi.
Proscribed outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack through social media. BLA claimed that one of their fighters Rehan Baloch conducted the suicide attack to target the Chinese workers.
