Quetta: Veteran Journalist of Balochistan, Shahzada Zulfiqar, has been elected as President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) unopposed for two of two years, on Saturday.
He was elected President in the Bi-Anniel Delegates Meeting (BDM) of PFUJ, which was held in Karachi on 29-30 November.
Zulfiqar is the first journalist from Balochistan who has been elected as the President of the national body of journalists in Pakistan.
In 2017 Zulfiqar became the first working journalist in the history of Balochistan to receive Presidential Award for Pride of Performance.
