Protest Against Drugs Concluded in Quetta

Quetta: A long march from Khuzdar to Quetta against drug usage culminated in a sit-in protest, which concluded on Sunday.
The long march started on 6th February and reached Quetta on 15th February. Over a dozen members started the march, which was later joined by several people in Kalat, Mastung and other areas on the way.
Sajjad Baloch, the organizer of the protest march, said that open availability of drugs is destroying the youth of Balochistan. “Sami Baloch in Nushki was killed because he raised voice against drugs mafia,” He said.
He urged the provincial and federal governments to initiate crackdown against drug-mafia to secure the future of the youth of Balochistan.
Nazeer Baloch, Chairman Baloch Students Organization (BSO), said on the occasion that Balochistan is a graveyard of problems and drugs are consuming the youth of Balochistan like termites.
Sajjad Baloch, in the end, thanked the people who visited their sit-in protest and also held condolence prayer for Sami Baloch.
