There are various students who cannot go to big cities to get an education and start their education in the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) which imparts distance learning education. Such sort of pupil get admission along with sustaining their families financially.
Recently, AIOU has increased its fee from 11,000 to 19,000 rupees per semester which has aggrandized the frustration and depression among students of Balochistan, who are mostly indulged in private teaching to make ends meet. They do not make more than 12,000 per month. Albeit, it seems impossible for them to continue education.
Incumbent Government could not give CPEC scholarships to students of Balochistan. It had better give incentive in fees in the AIOU so that students can carry their education without financial hindrance and are able to participate in the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
