Quetta: Aziz Jamali, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative Balochistan (PPHI-B) and Principal Secretary to CM Balochistan Zahid Salim visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Khanozai, district Pishin, Yesterday.
They were briefed about 24/7 Mother and Child Health (MCH) services at the facility. Efforts on Gender-Based Violence awareness and psychosocial support were praised by the Principal Secretary. He appreciated the joint initiative by PPHI and UNFPA Pakistan. He promised the full support of the Government of Balochistan for the Hub & Spoke model of MCH services.
Mr. Zahid Saleem said on the occasion that it sounds great that PPHI Balochistan is playing its part for the welfare of people in far-flung areas. Health is first priority of the Balochistan government. The government of Balochistan will support such initiatives in the future for the betterment of people.
