Local people claim that all government departments have failed to control the spread of the fire.
This grave issue is also not getting the required media coverage, which is further preventing the needed reaction by the government to control the fire.
Civil society activities have urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to direct NDMA to use all available resources to control the fire to prevent wildlife and pine trees, which are the only source of livelihood for local residents.
